Description

Rumors of a Tartar host sweeping across the Hungarian plains stir dread among the villages that cling to the old ways. In the modest settlement of Karád, Master Stephen wrestles with his duty to protect his people while a charismatic priest, Father Roger, rallies them with sermons of divine wrath and human valor. Amidst this tension, a restless outsider named Libor arrives, carrying a mysterious past and a promise of aid that unsettles the fragile peace.

As winter's snow deepens, the villagers huddle around campfires, sharing stories that blend legend with lingering fear, while the looming hooves of the invaders grow louder. Dora, a determined young woman, faces a personal dilemma, torn between family loyalty and a burgeoning love that could jeopardize everything she holds dear. The fragile calm shatters when an unexpected storm forces everyone into a hidden cavern, setting the stage for a desperate stand that will test courage and faith.
