Description

The tale begins in England at the dawn of the 1400s, just after Richard II has been deposed and Henry IV has taken the throne. While the new king seeks to rule with justice, the dispossessed nobles of the former regime plot revenge, and the blind Lord Gilbert Reginald Falworth—once a trusted counselor—finds his family shattered by the turmoil.

Eight‑year‑old Myles Falworth watches the upheaval from the stone hall of his family’s manor, his innocence pierced by the arrival of a grim knight in black armor on a snow‑covered morning. The knight’s cold gaze and the hushed gathering of armed men signal a looming danger that threatens the Falworths, while Myles clings to the memory of Sir John Dale, his father’s loyal friend. Against this backdrop of betrayal and uncertainty, the young boy’s journey of courage and honor begins, promising a tale of medieval chivalry and personal growth.
