Description

Set against the glitter of an eighteenth‑century court, the tale follows a young princess whose unrivaled beauty provokes Venus’s jealous wrath. The goddess sends her son, the radiant Cupid, to doom the maiden, yet upon seeing her he spares her and whisks her to a secret palace where an unseen husband tends to her every need. In the darkness of night she feels his love, but curiosity and the whispers of envious sisters compel her to light a lamp and glimpse the divine face that has hidden her bliss.

The sudden revelation shatters the enchantment, sending the couple fleeing into a world where gods and monsters stir. As she confronts the loss of her unseen husband, the heroine finds herself thrust into a series of impossible tasks that test her patience, courage, and faith. The story weaves together mythic allegory and gentle humor, inviting listeners to contemplate love’s mysteries while following a heroine’s earnest, if precarious, journey toward redemption.
