Description

A polished gentleman of the night, the famed London thief known as Raffles spends his days strolling the summer streets, trading banter with his loyal confidant, Charly Brand. Over a puff of smoke they discuss the astonishing 4,000‑pound bounty posted by Inspector Baxter—an amount that would make most men buckle, though Raffles insists he will never surrender. Their conversation drifts from history to mischievous schemes, setting the tone for a caper peppered with wit, charm, and a hint of danger.

When a young servant disappears from the Tower’s shadowy corridors, rumours of a stolen maid begin to swirl through the city’s underbelly. Raffles, ever the reluctant hero, is drawn in not by greed but by the thrill of outsmarting the law and protecting the innocent from a network of ruthless crooks. Alongside Charly, he prepares his concealed arsenal of ingenious tools, ready to slip through the labyrinthine alleys of Victorian London.

All the while, the rivalry with Inspector Baxter sharpens, promising a cat‑and‑mouse game that balances razor‑thin morals with flamboyant bravado. Listeners will find themselves tangled in a world where elegance meets crime, and every step toward the Tower could reveal another layer of intrigue.
