Description

In a dust‑kissed stretch of the Old West, two half‑crazed prospectors—one called Ike and his companion “Dirty Shirt”—stumble upon a bizarre election poster pinned to a lone tree. The stone‑cold “defeat the demon rum” slogan and the strange name of Sheriff‑candidate Lindhardt Cadwallader Sim(s) set off a chain of riddles, muttering preachers, and an oddball cast of characters who all seem locked in a contest between liquor and reform.

As Ike and Dirty ride toward the nearby town of Piperock, they encounter rambling sermons about “martyrs,” a mule‑riding old‑timer named Testament, and the fiercely independent goat‑herder “Mighty” Jones. Their journey is peppered with slang‑filled humor, absurd proclamations, and a palpable sense that something larger than a simple ballot is stirring in Yaller Rock County—promising a rollicking, tongue‑in‑cheek adventure for anyone who loves quirky frontier tales.
