Description

In a quiet forest clearing, a modest hut glows with a lone fire as night falls. Libussa, a young woman in simple peasant garb, emerges from the shelter, having been rescued from a perilous river by the enigmatic hunter Primislaus. Their brief exchange hints at a deeper bond and a looming journey beyond the trees.

The drama unfolds around the sisters Kascha, Tetka, and Libussa, their loyal servants, and a cast of local villagers and armed men. Primislaus, bearing gifts of golden shoes and a jeweled belt, promises to guide Libussa toward the three oaks that mark a fated crossroads. Yet the forest is already echoing with mysterious footsteps and the arrival of armed strangers, suggesting that the path ahead will be fraught with both danger and destiny.
