Description

A modest log cabin, the home of the young Tyltyl, becomes the stage for an unexpected reunion when the enigmatic Fairy Bérylune appears at his door. The fairy, now disguised as an elderly woman, recognizes the boy‑grown‑teen and instantly stirs memories of an adventure they once shared. Their uneasy dialogue hints at a deeper bond and a lingering promise, while the surrounding forest and the humble furnishings echo a world where the ordinary meets the magical.

Beyond the cabin, a host of vivid characters—farm girls, an avaricious spirit, ancestral presences, and even celestial lights—populate a series of fantastical tableaux. Each scene unfolds like a painted vignette, inviting listeners to wander through moon‑lit rooms, enchanted palaces, and star‑strewn horizons. The play’s lyrical rhythm and whimsical humor promise a journey that balances wonder with the bittersweet nostalgia of growing up, all set against a backdrop of timeless fairy‑tale charm.
