Description

In a wind‑swept plain of Chi‑Tse‑Po, where a lone elm leans beside a towering cannellier, a young poet‑scholar named Ko‑Li‑Tsin sits in bright silk, his laughter scattering across the autumn light. His quick eyes and ever‑present smile reveal a mind that darts from mischievous rhyme to quiet wonder, and his slender, silver‑trimmed robes flutter like a dragon’s shadow at sunset. Though his days have been filled with wandering verses and the patronage of generous elders, a restless yearning pulls him toward something beyond mere poems.

That yearning is sparked by a whispered promise from a distant mandarin: his only daughter will wed a poet of true talent, a match that could bind Ko‑Li‑Tsin’s fate to the imperial jade scepter and the mysterious dragon that follows a master’s steps. As the tenth moon rises, the fields blur into a misty horizon, and the young man feels the first tremors of rebellion against the earth itself. Listeners are invited to follow his poetic quest, the delicate balance of love and destiny, before the story’s deeper twists unfold.
