In the moon‑lit palace garden every blossom holds a tune. Lilies and roses don concert garb, stretching their white necks toward the light as a long‑tailed lily‑stalk keeps time. A ragged band of crimson carnations, spotted poppies and a jaunty thistle trades brass drums for a solo, while harp‑playing violets pluck moonbeam strings. Lanterns of flickering colour sway from the trees, a fountain spills ruby wine, and silk‑footed gnomes whisk trays of sweets through the revelers.
Amid the music three identical young princes stand at the edge of the festivities, ready to depart on their first great journey. Legend says that when a prince reaches his twentieth spring, a pale, cloud‑soft horse of four gleaming white steeds appears, carrying him toward an unseen realm. Those who return speak of a fleeting, dream‑like adventure that soon blurs into the cozy tales grandparents tell by the hearth. Listeners are invited to wander with these imagined travelers, feeling the wonder of a night where every flower sings and every farewell hints at a secret beyond the stars.
