Description

At the heart of this volume lies Christophe, a once‑driven virtuoso who now finds himself in a quiet, almost static landscape. After years of fierce ambition, his musical gifts have settled into a comfortable routine, leaving him to wonder whether the fire that once propelled his art has faded. He watches his past successes from a distance, feeling both pride and a subtle shame at slipping into a dilettante’s ease.

His world is still intertwined with the people who have shaped him, especially his old friend Olivier. The two share a bond that rarely needs words, each absorbed in his own creative pursuits while lingering memories of love and loss hover nearby. A seemingly ordinary incident in the modest streets of Montrouge pulls Christophe out of his reverie, hinting at new challenges that may test the fragile peace he has built.
