Peter is a restless teen from Philadelphia, stuck in a rainy attic with a battered baseball mitt and a couple of mysterious sacks. When a stray gold coin tumbles from one of the bags, it whisks him away from the stormy city and drops him in front of a curious yellow cottage—an enormous hollowed pumpkin perched in a patch of orange vines. Inside, he discovers a doorway to Oz, a land he’s already saved from mischievous kings and talking scarecrows, and he can’t help but wonder what new wonders await.

The story follows Peter as he steps back into a familiar yet ever‑changing Oz, where he meets quirky allies like the Iffin and the bearded baron, and confronts fresh puzzles in places such as Scare City and Baffleburg.
