Description

A moonlit night on the windswept coast of Södermanland sets the stage for a tale of secrecy and restless ambition. In 1661, a lone traveler cloaked in a broad hat pauses on a cliff overlooking the sea, his eyes fixed on a strange, anchored vessel that glitters in the silver‑blue water. The hush of the shoreline is broken only by the creaking of the ship’s rigging and the distant murmur of voices, hinting at a hidden purpose beneath the calm surface.

Soon, the traveler meets Captain Ruys, a stern figure whose weathered face bears the marks of countless voyages. Their conversation reveals a meticulously planned departure, a crew bound together by duty and uneasy anticipation. As they prepare to set sail for Stockholm, the atmosphere thickens with whispered doubts and the sense that something vital hangs in the balance, inviting listeners to follow the unfolding intrigue across the Baltic’s restless waves.
