Description

A lone figure lingers in the hush of a mist‑shrouded city, drawn to the echo of a church’s hymn as its chimes dissolve into night. The music awakens something deep within him, and when a clear, tender female voice rises from the choir, his heart races and his body trembles. He slips into a back pew, eyes fixed on the singer, and when the service ends he follows her out, his obsession already in full bloom.

His pursuit leads him through shadowed streets to a modest house, where he watches the woman disappear inside. Compelled to stay nearby, he eventually retreats to a cramped garret, lighting a modest fire and cradling a well‑kept violin on the table. In the flickering glow he reflects on the strange pull of the melody and the yearning that now fuels his every step, setting the stage for a tale of longing, memory, and the mysteries that lie behind a single, haunting note.
