Description

In the bleak northern wilderness, a weary traveler burdened by a string of misfortunes trudges onward with his ever‑cheerful companion. Their journey through snow‑bound forests and over frozen rivers leads them to the remote outpost of Kalvik, a tiny town clinging to the banks of a sluggish river. The landscape is stark—endless white, a muffling fog, and the occasional creaking of a dog‑drawn sled—yet the promise of a sheltering hearth and a community hidden among modest factories and a venerable church offers a glimmer of hope.

Upon arrival, the duo discovers a place where the ordinary and the uncanny coexist: rust‑colored warehouses loom under frosty skies, and the locals speak of distant lands and secret dealings. As they settle in, the town’s quiet rhythm is disturbed by whispers of a looming storm and the arrival of enigmatic strangers. Their presence hints at untold challenges, urging the pair to decide whether to remain passive observers or become entangled in the unfolding drama that begins to stir beneath Kalvik’s frozen surface.
