The story follows three unlikely cowpunchers drifting through the dusty plains of the Old West. Henry “Hen” Peck, the banjo‑strumming wanderer, shares a corral with Lemuel “Muley” Bowles, a self‑styled poet, and John “Telescope” Tolliver, a wandering singer who boasts Southern charm despite his Montana roots. Their bond is as quirky as it is strong, each swapping verses, songs, and jokes while the sunrise paints the horizon.
When Muley’s poetic stunt lands him in the clutches of the law, his two companions hatch a scheme to swing the doors of the jail wide open. With a blend of clever rhymes, stolen horses, and a dash of frontier improvisation, they turn a simple rescue into a rollicking series of tall tales. The first act promises laughs, camaraderie, and a taste of the wild ingenuity that defines life on the range.
