Hoe Piggelmee groot werd. - OORSPRONKELIJK SPROOKJE VERVOLG OP HET TOOVERVISCHJE
Colofon - Codering
In this charming sequel the tiny dwarf couple, still tucked away in a shallow rabbit‑burrow beneath the dunes, wrestle with the everyday hardships of cold, hunger and cramped walls. Though they reminisce about the magical fish that once helped them, the restless Piggelmee can’t shake the feeling that life should be larger than their little pot‑shaped home. He sets out into the surrounding woods, hoping a chance encounter with a clever crow, a solemn owl, or another forest friend might reveal the secret to “growing up” and finally afford a proper table, chairs and a warm hearth.
The narrative follows Piggelmee’s earnest, sometimes clumsy attempts to ask the creatures of the meadow for counsel, each reply tangled in riddles about size, need and contentment. As spring awakens the forest and new life sprouts all around them, the dwarfs’ yearning for a brighter, more spacious future becomes a gentle meditation on ambition, resourcefulness and the quiet magic that lives in everyday wishes.
