Description

In a modest home that hums with the bustle of breakfast, Tom Primrose watches his father return from a tense courtroom battle. A fresh letter from the sheriff promises a second chance to bring a pair of notorious criminals to justice, and Tom volunteers for a daring errand to deliver it. The young boy’s enthusiasm clashes with his family’s worries, setting the stage for his first true test of responsibility.

Armed with a packed satchel and a determined grin, Tom races to catch the twelve‑o’clock train, but a missing hat and a sprained foot threaten to derail his plans. Along the way he must navigate bustling stations, uneasy strangers, and the lingering shadow of the outlaws he hopes to trap. As the train whistles blow, Tom’s quick thinking and courage hint at a growing independence that will shape the Primrose family’s fate.
