Description

In the high desert of the Hualapai Mountains, a ragged mining outfit pushes its wagons into a verdant valley that promises both riches and danger. Led by the seasoned wagon‑master Rube Sarrow, the crew—along with a nervous governor, a stubborn senator and a gang of mules—prepares a makeshift fort while scouts return with fresh deer. At the heart of the party is Charlie Adams, a bright‑eyed teenager whose love of adventure outweighs any fear of the unknown.

The men talk of the hostile Hualapai who guard the pass, and they tighten their defenses, wrapping blankets around wheels and keeping a wary eye on the surrounding hills. As night falls, the camp settles into an uneasy calm, the only sounds those of restless animals and distant winds. Listeners will be drawn into the tense anticipation of a frontier trek where courage, curiosity, and the looming threat of conflict shape every step.
