Description

In the icy winter of the late 16th century, two young MacGregor brothers set out as peddlers, hoping to trade their wares across the rugged Highlands. Their journey takes a desperate turn when a snow‑bound road forces them into the hostile lands of Sir Humphrey Colquhoun, where the ancient feuds between clans make any MacGregor unwelcome. With food denied and shelter refused, the brothers are forced to improvise, scavenging firewood from a farmer’s tools and hunting a lone goat to stave off starvation.

Their desperate actions do not go unnoticed. A lone observer alerts the local lord, and the youths are seized, thrust into a swift and unforgiving legal process that culminates in a death sentence. The narrative captures the stark realities of clan rivalry, the harshness of the Scottish winter, and the fragile line between survival and persecution, inviting listeners to step into a world where honor and hatred collide on the shores of Loch Lomond.
