HARHAMA II
HARHAMA
A solitary wanderer drifts through a mist‑shrouded forest, the pine‑laden road humming with the chatter of curious birds and rustling squirrels. He reaches a lonely, weather‑worn cottage called Valkamala, where the air is sweet with pine sap and the distant hum of nature seems both welcoming and unsettling. As he approaches the gate, a middle‑aged woman with black hair and striking blue eyes greets him, her tone oddly both polite and probing, offering shelter in a place where food and a bed are said to be scarce.
The encounter quickly becomes a delicate dance of trust, as the stranger watches the restless raven that circles the porch and listens to the birds’ cryptic calls. Around him, the forest’s creatures—an awake squirrel, a singing thrush, a blossom‑laden lilac—seem to warn or invite in equal measure. Listeners will be drawn into the quiet tension of this first meeting, feeling the pull between the wanderer’s weariness and the mysterious hospitality that awaits inside.
