Description

For generations, the Tower has stood above a bomb-blackened coast, sacred to the Free People and guarded against raids from the Wild Ones. Jon has served as one of its sentries since he was twenty, accepting the duty as a fact of life. He knows only that the Tower must be defended—and that failure means ruin for everyone who depends on it.

When an enemy ship appears on the horizon, Jon joins the defenders in a brutal battle for the shore. The attackers are numerous, savage, and led by a towering warrior who cuts through the guardians with terrifying ease. As friends fall and the defenders are forced back, Jon fights with growing desperation, determined to hold the line around the mysterious structure.

Set in a harsh future shaped by forgotten devastation, this tense science-fiction adventure combines vivid swordplay with an intriguing question: what is the Tower, and why has it inspired centuries of conflict?
