Description

In the bustling streets of ancient Pompeii, a young blind flower‑girl named Nydia makes her living by singing and selling blossoms. Her delicate voice, tinged with melancholy, draws the attention of passers‑by and, most importantly, the handsome young noble Glaucus, who remembers her from his earlier visits. Nydia’s devotion is quiet yet powerful, her love expressed through song and the simple act of offering flowers, painting a portrait of innocence amid the city's lively chatter.

When Glaucus returns to the city after a brief absence, he seeks Nydia’s familiar melody and is moved by the joy in her eyes. Their brief reunion, filled with whispered gratitude and tender gifts, hints at deeper feelings that both struggle to articulate. As the crowd disperses, the promise of a garden visit and the whisper of unseen obstacles linger, setting the stage for a love that must navigate the shadows of Pompeian society.
