Description

A train pulls into the tiny Red River Valley station, spilling out a lively troupe of the Overland Riders—determined women, a seasoned forester, and a cheeky newcomer named Hippy Wingate, who juggles a mischievous bull pup and a battered suitcase. Their arrival draws a crowd of curious locals, and a brief, comic exchange with a lanky, Mackinaw‑clad boy sets the tone for the light‑hearted banter that runs through the party as they unload ponies and sort supplies.

Now poised on the edge of the massive Minnesota woods, the group must decide how to reach the elusive guide Joe Shafto, whose absence leaves them navigating a maze of rumors and half‑promised directions. With the wilderness looming, friendships are tested, plans go awry, and the promise of rugged adventure beckons. Listeners will be swept into the camaraderie, the humor, and the anticipation of what lies beyond the treeline.
