Description

In the shadow of an oppressive Inquisition, a group of aristocratic Spaniards gathers in a richly appointed Aragonese salon, their pride bruised by the new, ruthless order imposed by Torquemada. Their whispered conspiracies reveal a restless hunger for freedom and fortune, and the promise of distant lands becomes a tempting escape from the tightening noose of religious tyranny.

Propelled by ambition and the allure of untapped wealth, the companions set sail across the Atlantic, confronting uncharted seas and the fierce reality of the New World. Their journey intertwines daring exploration with uneasy encounters between European ambitions and the lives of Indigenous peoples, as each step forward tests loyalties and moral compasses. The early chapters capture the raw excitement of discovery while hinting at the complex, often perilous, alliances that will shape the nascent colonies.
