Description

Haunted by the tragic loss of his beloved sister Justine, Victor Frankenstein finds himself trapped in a relentless cycle of guilt and despair. The once‑optimistic young scientist, driven by lofty ideals of beneficence, now wrestles with a conscience tormented by the crimes he believes his creation has wrought. As his father attempts to counsel him, Victor’s inner turmoil grows, pushing him toward a solitary existence.

Seeking refuge from his anguish, Victor spends long nights alone on the lake, rowing in silence while the world around him drifts into darkness. The calm water and distant sounds of night creatures become a backdrop for his conflicted thoughts about love, duty, and the looming threat of the monster he unleashed. Yet each tranquil moment only deepens his dread that further horrors may still be to come, leaving him poised on the brink of a new, uncertain chapter.
