Description

A storm‑laden night in Boston finds seventeen‑year‑old Walter Grey thrust into a perilous scheme when a shady lawyer lures him to the docks under the pretense of seeing his ailing mother. Before he can grasp the truth, the boy is drugged and left unconscious aboard a massive whaling ship, his fate hanging by a thread.

Enter the charismatic and daring Frank Reade, Jr., who bursts onto the scene with fists flying and a pistol blazing, rescuing the hapless youth from the clutches of ruthless sailors. Together they escape onto the deck of the Red Eric, where Frank reveals his latest marvel: an electric‑powered ice ship capable of slicing through frozen seas.

With the boy’s safety secured for now, the duo sets a course toward the icy frontier, promising a daring voyage filled with inventive technology, high‑seas intrigue, and the promise of redemption amidst a frosty, uncharted world.
