Description

On the remote Four Winds Farm, where the moors roar and the pines stand guard, a boy named Gratian Conyfer learns the language of the wind. His earliest memories are of breezes that soothe, scold, and sing, making the air feel like a living companion. The prose moves with a quiet lyricism, inviting listeners to taste the fresh breath on the farm‑house doorstep.

Gratian walks three miles each day to a solitary village school, spends evenings in a quiet kitchen corner, and roams the heather with the old shepherd Jonas and his collie, Watch. Though his world is sparsely populated, he never feels isolated; his curiosity about the unseen currents grows, hinting at an inner shift. As the wind begins to stir more than the fields, the boy senses that his own life may be on the brink of change.
