Description

In a cramped London study, a weary scholar surrounds himself with towering shelves of literature and a gallery of Irish Wolfhound portraits. The images, each marked with name and age, whisper of a world far from the soot‑stained roofs he watches through a frosted window. When the “Mistress of the Kennels” steps in, her bright smile and wind‑tousled hair rekindle a memory of open‑air meadows and a gentle giant named Finn.

Finn, a striking wolfhound with a regal bearing, stands like a shadowed statue against moonlight, his massive frame moving with surprising grace. He shares a tender bond with Tara, his foster mother, who cradles a tiny pup while the hound watches over the rolling upland meadow. Their days are filled with playful chases, sturdy pulls of carts, and quiet moments when Finn rests his bearded muzzle against a warm hand.

Back in the city, the scholar feels the pull of those distant fields, his thoughts drifting between the comforting hum of his study and the distant call of Finn’s bark. He senses that something—perhaps a reunion or a looming need—will draw him back to the countryside, where the wolfhound’s loyalty may guide him through the uncertainties ahead.
