On the icy surface of a Saturnian moon, a herd of massive, white‑haired Woollies move in precise, animal‑like rhythm, their red eyes scanning a stark landing strip. Three Earth‑bound engineers—Paige, Doc, and the towering Paul Gedner—step out of their suits, each radiating a distinct mental current that the Woollies can sense: hidden hatred, gnawing fear, and a secretive, god‑like ambition. The alien workers, conditioned to obey, watch the humans with a mixture of reverence and unease as an ominous plan whispers through Gedner’s thoughts. Tension crackles as the Woollies struggle to reconcile their programmed loyalty with the strange, powerful emotions they detect.
The arrival of a sleek rocket punctuates the uneasy standoff, its fiery descent lighting the frozen terrain and drawing the Woollies into a tense pause. Big Bill, a leader among the Woollies, feels an unfamiliar thrill as Gedner’s mind brushes against his own, hinting at a possible collaboration or betrayal. Listeners are pulled into a claustrophobic world where alien obedience clashes with human ambition, promising a gripping exploration of trust, power, and the unknown.
