When the Mountain Shook

A desperate journey drives Var and Neena across the forbidding slopes of Ryzga, a dark, geometric mountain that hides a race of sleeping beings ready to awaken. Pursued by the vengeful Groz and his henchmen, the pair cling to each other’s courage, weaving fragile dreams and daring feats to stay ahead of a relentless threat. Their trek forces them into perilous ice‑cliffs, bottomless crevasses, and a night where every step could be their last.

At the edge of the mountain they discover the fabled Watcher’s cave, a sealed ice curtain that shatters under Var’s resolve. Inside, an ancient, frail guardian stirs from centuries of sleep, his presence both underwhelming and unsettling. The cavern glows with perpetual winter light, offering a brief sanctuary and a chance for the fugitives to learn why the mountain rumbles and what forces now stir beneath its frozen skin.
