Description

In a realm that once stretched from the Chinese frontier to the Ganges, two royal brothers inherit very different destinies. The elder, Schahriar, ascends the throne of their father’s great empire, while the younger, Schahzenan, is granted the distant kingdom of Great‑Tartary and sets up his court in the glittering city of Samarcand. Their bond, forged in shared blood and mutual respect, seems to promise a peaceful division of power.

A decade later, Schahriar, driven by a sudden wish to see his brother, dispatches a lavish embassy to Samarcand. The visit is met with sumptuous feasts, gilded gifts, and an atmosphere of cordial celebration. Yet beneath the splendor, subtle currents of suspicion stir as the king confronts unexpected scenes within his sister‑in‑law’s chambers, hinting at hidden tensions that could fracture their fragile harmony.

Anonymous

Some of the world’s most enduring books come from writers whose names were never recorded or never revealed. “Anonymous” on a title page can mean many different things: a lost identity, a deliberate choice, or a work shaped by tradition over time.
