Description

At Fardale Military Academy a rare opportunity arises when the school’s baseball squad is invited to face the seasoned Great Northern Athletic Association. The challenge pits the cadets, still raw and youthful, against a semi‑professional team whose players live and breathe the sport. For Dick Merriwell, the younger brother of the celebrated Frank, this match becomes a chance to prove himself beyond the long shadow of his sibling’s fame.

Dick approaches the contest with the same steadfast honor and determination that have defined the Merriwell name. As the academy’s athletic committee wrestles with the risk of a lopsided defeat, the boys rally around a shared resolve to play fair, rely on teamwork, and uphold the high moral standards they’ve been taught. The stage is set for a spirited contest that will test their skill, character, and the true meaning of sportsmanship.
