Denslow's Three Bears
Golden Hair is a cheerful orphan who lives with her beloved grandmother at the edge of a great forest. With a sunny nature, a talent for understanding birds, and deer that feed from her hand, she finds friendship among the woodland creatures. One autumn day, while gathering leaves and goldenrod, she wanders farther than ever before and discovers a lonely cabin belonging to Papa Bear, Mamma Bear, and the Tiny Bear.
When no one answers her knock, Golden Hair steps inside and finds a bubbling kettle, three bowls, and a house in need of tidying. Her curiosity and helpful spirit soon lead her into a lively encounter with the three jolly bears, whose warm-hearted manners are matched by their amusing domestic habits. Filled with playful scenes, cozy meals, woodland friendships, and bright, colorful illustrations, this gentle fairy-tale adaptation offers young listeners a friendly version of a familiar story—one centered on kindness, cooperation, and the fun of welcoming unexpected companions.
