Description

A lone crusader rides across the scorching Syrian plain, his steel armor glinting in a sun that has not yet reached its peak. He has left his distant northern homeland to join the forces of the Holy Land, and now he finds himself threading a treacherous path of rock and sand toward the desolate basin known as the Dead Sea. The landscape is a stark tableau of cracked earth, stinking sulphur fumes, and a stagnant, salt‑laden lake that reflects no life. Every step is a battle against thirst, heat and the oppressive silence of a valley once described in ancient scripture as a garden now turned to ash.

Through dust‑filled winds he presses on, his heavy shield bearing an embroidered leopard and a cryptic warning, his lance steady at his side. The relentless environment presses against his resolve, yet the knight sees a purpose beyond mere survival—a chance to reclaim something lost among the ruins. Listeners will feel the weight of his armor, the heat of the desert, and the uneasy quiet that hints at dangers still hidden beyond the horizon.
