Cinderella

After losing her mother, a kind and dutiful young girl finds herself at the mercy of a proud stepmother and two spiteful stepsisters. Though burdened with endless chores and treated as a servant in her own home, she meets her troubles with patience—and grows more graceful and lovely each year.

When the King’s son announces a grand ball, Cinderella is left behind in tears. Her fairy godmother arrives with a pumpkin, mice, rats, and lizards, transforming them into a splendid coach, horses, attendants, and a dazzling gown complete with delicate glass slippers. At the ball, Cinderella captivates the court and wins the Prince’s attention, but magic has a strict deadline: she must return before midnight. After a second, even more enchanting evening, she flees as the spell begins to fade, leaving behind a single slipper. Soon, a royal search begins to discover whom it fits.
