Description

In the smoky dawn of May 1864, a rugged Georgia valley erupts with the clash of Union and Confederate forces. A lone rider, his horse thundering through the broken landscape, darts past sentries and gunfire, daring the enemy to give chase. The Confederate cavalry, rattled by his sudden appearance, opens a volley that whirls around him, yet the scout’s uncanny speed and audacity keep him just out of reach. As bullets ricochet and the valley narrows, the tension spikes, hinting at the larger, chaotic sweep of Sherman’s march.

The rider, known among his comrades as “Cavalry Curt,” embodies the fearless spirit of a war‑time scout. His quick reflexes, a flash of a knife, and an almost mystical command to his horse turn a desperate encounter into a daring escape. Rumors of his exploits spread through both camps, promising further high‑stakes pursuits and daring feats as the conflict rolls onward. Listeners will be drawn into the raw energy of this early encounter, feeling the pulse of a battlefield where bravery and legend are forged.
