An Entertaining History of Tom Thumb William Raine's Edition

Meet Tom Thumb, the tiniest hero in King Arthur’s realm. Long wished for by a farmer and his wife, Tom arrives through the kindness of a fairy—but his miniature size soon leads to enormous trouble. When he tumbles into a pudding, his cries send a startled tinker running, and a trip to the fields brings an even stranger adventure involving a thistle, a cow, and a very frightened little boy.

Told in lively rhyming verse, this charming children’s tale follows Tom as he encounters a world of outsized dangers and marvelous possibilities. His courage, quick thinking, and remarkable escapes make each episode a delightful surprise, while the playful language invites young listeners to read or listen along. With its old-fashioned storytelling style and colorful illustrations, this edition offers a cheerful journey into fairy-tale England, where even the smallest character can make a very large impression.
