A lone priest, cloaked in a simple reddish‑brown robe, drifts into a Neuter village on the banks of the great river that will become Niagara. The warriors, initially wary, soon share their fire and food, listening as he speaks of a life beyond death in their own tongue. He tells of a faith that promises redemption, while the tribe weighs his words against their own customs and legends. The encounter becomes a quiet bridge between two very different worlds.
Guided by the chieftain, the priest follows a narrow woodland path to the edge of a thundering cataract. From a jutting stone shelf he beholds the massive cascade and a small island that locals claim is a sacred burial ground. The roar of the falls and the mist that rises feel like a glimpse of something divine, leaving the priest humbled and awed. The scene sets the stage for a deeper exchange of belief, courage, and the mysteries that lie on the island's shore.
