A group of energetic boys in a well‑to‑do neighborhood have caught the craze for flight and form the “Young Aviators,” a club devoted to crafting miniature airplanes in the garage loft of one of their fathers. Their enthusiasm turns the quiet summer days into a whirlwind of sketches, wooden frames and daring test flights, all while they dream of taking to the skies for real.
Across town, a tougher gang from the poorer Goosetown district watches the Elm Street crew with equal curiosity, trading gossip and daring each other to prove who’s the better scout. When rumors of a secret “aeroplane spy” surface, both sides sense that the upcoming contest could become more than a friendly rivalry—it might launch them into real Boy‑Scout adventures and a chance to claim a practical aircraft of their own. The stage is set for a high‑spirited clash of ingenuity, pride, and youthful daring.
