Bobby Coon is a rotund forest creature who hunkers down in a hollow chestnut tree for the long winter. He naps for days, waking only when the weather warms enough to stir his rumbling stomach, and his hunger fuels a series of restless dreams about feasting foods that vanish at the last bite. One night the dreams turn darker, placing him in a hollow log as a massive, club‑wielding giant beats around him, filling his ears with a deafening roar.
When Bobby finally bolts upright, he can’t tell whether the pounding is still part of the nightmare or a real threat outside his tree. The line between sleep and wakefulness blurs, leaving him anxious and hungry for both food and answers. Listeners will follow Bobby as he ventures beyond his cozy hollow, seeking comfort, courage, and perhaps a way to quiet the relentless drumming of his mind.
