The narrator, still trembling from a recent confession of love, drifts into a night‑filled reverie where memory and desire blur. In his dream he finds himself on an endless Alpine plain beneath a moonlit sky, the towering Matterhorn looming ahead. Though he watches his own desperate ascent from a detached viewpoint, each step repeats in a futile circle, leaving him exhausted and haunted by an unnamed dread. Just as the struggle seems endless, the figure of Min appears on the distant summit, reaching out with a pleading gaze that threatens to pull him toward an unseen abyss.
