A longtime insider of the Revere Copper Company, S. T. Snow preserved a vivid first-hand account of American industrial history. His only known book looks back on five decades of work and the company’s roots in the legacy of Paul Revere.
S. T. Snow was identified by Project Gutenberg as Samuel Thomas Snow (1824–1901). He spent fifty years with the Revere Copper Company, beginning his service in 1840 and remaining closely connected with the business through the late nineteenth century.
In 1890, Snow presented Fifty Years with the Revere Copper Co. at the company’s stockholders’ meeting. The work combines corporate history with personal recollections, tracing the company’s development and its connection to Paul Revere’s early copper-manufacturing enterprise.
Snow’s surviving publication offers a rare perspective from inside a major American industrial company, with particular attention to the people, decisions, and values that shaped its growth.
