About the author
Originally from South Manchester, S. J. Galbraith later moved to Sheffield, where he lives with his wife and daughters. Before focusing on fiction, he worked in senior management across several business sectors.
After selling his company, he studied for a Creative Writing MA at Manchester Metropolitan University and graduated with distinction. That shift into formal writing study helped launch his work as a novelist.
His debut crime novel, The Wythenshawe Dandy, was published by Salt. The book has been presented as the start of his published fiction career, suggesting a writer who came to crime writing through both life experience and deliberate craft.
