About the author

Originally from South Manchester, Stephen Galbraith now lives in Sheffield with his wife and daughters. Before turning to fiction, he worked in senior management across several business sectors and later sold his company.

He then studied for an MA in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University, graduating with distinction. Writing as S. J. Galbraith, he has drawn on his northern background to create crime fiction with a strong sense of setting and character.

His debut novel, The Wythenshawe Dandy, was published by Salt. It follows a young detective trying to clear her boyfriend's name while uncovering older, dangerous secrets.
