Richard Fox is a science fiction author best known for The Ember War Saga. According to his Simon & Schuster author page, he won the 2017 Dragon Award for Best Military Science Fiction or Fantasy novel.
His publisher biography says his fiction draws heavily from his time in the United States Army. He served two combat tours in Iraq and received the Bronze Star, Combat Action Badge, and Presidential Unit Citation.
Fox lives in Las Vegas with his wife and three sons. His work is especially popular with readers who enjoy military SF, large-scale interstellar conflict, and action-driven series storytelling.
