Quelle & Meyer is a German publishing house rather than an individual author. It was founded on July 1, 1906 in Leipzig by the bookseller Richard Quelle and Dr. Heinrich Meyer. Richard Quelle, born in 1870, came from the book trade and helped shape the business until his death in 1926. Heinrich Meyer, born in 1875, continued the publishing work afterward. Today, the publisher continues under the Quelle & Meyer name from Wiebelsheim, Rhineland-Palatinate.
