Born Annie Molyneux on 4 February 1806 in Stanton Lacy, Shropshire, she became known as Annie Webb-Peploe and also published as Mrs. J. B. Webb. A British writer of roughly 25 books, she is associated with historical and devotional fiction written for Victorian readers.
Reliable sources found during this search identify some of her best-known works as Naomi; or, The Last Days of Jerusalem (1841), The Pilgrims of New England (1853), and Oliver Wyndham: A Tale of the Great Plague (1878). She died in 1880.
