by Mark Meadows
Born in France in 1959, Mark Meadows built a business career before entering public office. He represented North Carolina’s 11th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2013 to 2020 and became a prominent conservative voice during those years.
In 2020, he left Congress to serve as White House chief of staff under President Donald Trump, holding the role until January 2021. That position placed him at the center of some of the most consequential and closely watched moments of the administration’s final year.
Meadows is also the author of The Chief’s Chief, a memoir focused on his time in the White House. For listeners interested in recent American political history, his work offers a firsthand perspective from inside the West Wing.
