Lizzie Lawson

Lizzie Lawson is a writer and teaching artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. According to her official website and author profiles, she earned a B.A. in marketing from the University of St. Thomas and an M.F.A. in creative writing from The Ohio State University, where she served as nonfiction editor for The Journal.

Her essays and other writing have been published in outlets including Slate, Electric Literature, The Florida Review, The Sun, The Rumpus, Passages North, and Split Lip Magazine. Across these publications and her newsletter, her work often circles questions of belief, leaving Catholicism, publishing, and the complicated process of becoming oneself.
