About the author

Born Arvo Lauri Vuori on February 10, 1884, in Maaria, he published under the name Lauri Heisalo and is identified in Finnish reference sources as a Finnish playwright.

He died on October 28, 1957, in Nousiainen. Surviving catalog and library records show that his work included plays and short dramatic pieces, and Project Gutenberg lists several of his texts, which suggests that at least part of his writing has remained accessible to later readers.

Although detailed biographical information appears limited in the sources I could confirm, Heisalo is remembered as a writer for the stage whose work belongs to the world of Finnish drama in the early 1900s.
