John (Writer on the Fylde of Lancashire) Porter

John Porter was an English surgeon, author, and historian, born on June 12, 1847, and dead by August 13, 1881. Though his life was short, he became closely associated with Lancashire history and is especially remembered for History of the Fylde of Lancashire.
